低碳环保新篇章华北7大河流生态复苏行动
记者3日从水利部了解到,水利部近期发布了《2023年华北地区河湖生态环境复苏实施方案》,旨在对华北地区的7大河流水系中的40条河湖进行生态环境的全面复苏。据了解,这次行动将针对永定河、大清河、子牙河、漳卫河等7个重要水系,总计约4838公里的长江流域,从而实现这些区域内所有主要水道的连续性和可持续性。
为了确保这一目标得以实现,water resources management department of the ministry of water resources, China 的相关负责人介绍说,他们会综合考虑各个流域的地理位置、当前状况以及与之相关联的自然资源条件,以及每一段river's ecological role in order to select the most effective strategies for restoration. Based on these factors, they have decided to focus on concentrated watering efforts along key sections such as the Jinghang Grand Canal and the Yongding River, with a goal of achieving complete water flow connectivity across all river systems.
According to preliminary estimates from water resources management department of the ministry of water resources, China , this year's implementation is expected to inject 27.68 billion cubic meters of clean water into these rivers and lakes through targeted measures. This not only helps replenish groundwater levels but also significantly improves the overall appearance and healthiness of these bodies of water.
The impact extends beyond aesthetics: by implementing efficient irrigation practices that reduce reliance on underground aquifers, approximately 165 thousand hectares (or about 0.165 million acres) less land will be required for agricultural use annually. Moreover, it is anticipated that at least 8 billion cubic meters more freshwater will infiltrate back into these river systems due to better soil moisture retention.
